Our Program
At Martha- Leone, LLC, we assess students in order to create an individualized tutoring program that addresses their specific needs. All of our tutors are state-licensed teachers who are able to work with students individually and in small groups to ensure that they experience success. All of our programs are aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning and Common Core Standards of learning so that learning can be continued from the classroom.
Initial Evaluation
We will evaluate your child to determine their specific learning needs. Students are given diagnostic and achievement-based tests. These tests will help to determine your child’s strengths and weaknesses so that can design an individualized plan.
One to One
A customized program will be designed that is based on your child’s individualized learning needs. In this way, our teachers will be able to spend each tutoring session addressing the specific areas where your child is struggling.
Collaboration with students and Teachers
With the guardian’s permission, we will communicate regularly with your child’s school and teachers in order to monitor their progress to ensure that they are transferring learning from the sessions to the classroom. We love to work with teachers and school administrators to make sure your child is receiving the love, inclusion, creativity, and engagement to be master learners.
Individual or Small Group Instruction
We work with your child individually or in a small group of four or less. This allows our tutors to focus on your child and their specific learning needs. Groups allow the opportunity for students to learn from their peers and to build confidence and for the learner to create learning. By focusing on your students we are able to address their skill deficits while building their confidence and love for the area of focus.
Online learning
Our online tutoring platform allows your students to receive one-on-one tutoring with an experienced teacher. We provide a face-to-face experience that is very similar to in-person tutoring. All you need is a computer, iPad or phone and an internet connection to get started!
