Education Is A Living Legacy
Martha-Leone was developed to honor the rich legacy that Martha and Leon Harris leave in the field of education. Martha taught elementary education for 38 years and Leon taught agriculture for 37 years. Martha's love for education was passed down to her granddaughter, Brooke Harris. Brooke's love for education and her grandparents has inspired her to empower as many children as she can to become competent and literate.
Martha-Leone focuses on phonics, reading K-12, and math K-6. These services are offered virtually and in-person. Each student will be assessed individually for a personal self-paced plan.

What people are saying.
“Andrew hated school. And I hated that I couldn’t get him to “catch” on. He struggled daily and no matter what I did he just didn’t seem to get it. So, I made the decision to hold him back in the 2nd grade. After all, I wasn’t going to push him ahead if he was struggling to keep up as that would only push him farther behind. When school started that August, we met Ms. Harris and our lives would be forever changed. The very first day he came home EXCITED and ready to tell me what all he was going to be doing that school year. I thought it was because his teacher was pretty but hey if that’s what’s going to get you caught up son then admire away! As the school year went on, he was learning and picking up and getting where he needed to be and I couldn’t have been more proud of my son and even more happy that my boy had someone like Ms. Harris in his corner. She was also his 3rd and his 4th-grade teacher and she never did disappoint. My son loved going to school each day and I loved to hear how his day was and what he learned even more. When we moved away, I didn’t know if my son would be ok without her but he certainly had held onto what she has taught him. He is in the 8th grade now and he still talks about Ms. Harris and how thankful he is for her believing in him. Without her patience and her determination to tap into his hidden greatness, I don’t know where he would be. Thank you Ms. Harris!! We love you!!”

"Brooke has been a huge asset to my son’s education, Mark has come so far with his reading since we have had Brooke working with him. Mark can be a handful at times to get focused and engaged with reading and writing. I have been so thankful for Brooke and her devotion to Mark. I have asked for help and guidance from Brooke when preparing for meetings with his teachers and case manager and she was more than willing to help and even offered to attend the meetings with me. Brooke has truly become a part of our family and so great full to have her in our life".

Ms. Brooke is very helpful with my reading , I got my first 100 on my reading test yesterday and it’s all because of her . She is very nice and isn’t mean to me if I am having a bad day or can’t sit still . I can even tell her things that sometimes I don’t want to talk to my mom about. I really like working with her and bringing her candy.
